This team has extreme passion for ensuring creator issues are being addressed and feedback is being heard. Developing authentic relationships with our buyers and creators is key to the success and growth of SmarDIY – which is why the Community team is vital to our organization.
What is the job?
The Community Coordinator will be the face of SmarDIY and the voice for our users. This role is important as a means to collect feedback from the Community via on-site chat support that will drive everything from product decisions to marketing campaigns. The Community Coordinator will make sellers feel heard, while inspiring and educating them to reach the next level of success. The Community Coordinator is passionate about building and maintaining strong communities, and will consistently live up to our SmarDIY values.
- Manage SmarDIY chat support, including listening, understanding and replying to our creators
- Direct our creators to SmarDIY educational resources (TSU, forms, blogs, etc.)
- Know when to escalate bugs, site glitches and urgent issues to the Product team
- Log recurring issues or questions from the community
- Maintain a pulse on creator sentiment and report on relevant feedback
- Identify “spotlight worthy” creators to possibly feature in future content
- Represent the SmarDIY brand through friendly and effective support

- Extremely strong writing and communication skills
- Strong computer skills
